Youth Curling Open House

You have come to the right place!  Clicking the register button below will take you to the registration for Cape Cod Curling Club's youth curling open house.  The open house will be held Sunday, October 8th, with three different sessions starting at 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm.   Each session is limited to 12 kids ages 7- 15.

Just like our regular curling practice, a parent or guardian must be present for each child during the open house.  We have a nice warm room with comfy chairs, wifi, and free coffee for you to enjoy while your child is out on the ice. 

Each 45 minute session will start with a 15 minute introduction where we talk about what curling is, the basics of the curling delivery, and how to stay safe on the ice.  We will then head out onto the ice for a 30 minute demonstartion where the kids get to practice everything that we talked about.  Finally, as the kids get off the ice, we will provide more infomation about our youth curling program and how to sign up for a fun year of curling.

What kind of gear do your children need for a fun time on the ice?  They should wear warm, stretchy clothing and a clean pair of sneakers (preferably a pair that you change into at the club).  We need to keep curling ice as clean as possible and try to track as little dirt as we can onto the ice.  Other than warm clothes and clean shoes, you don't need anything else!  We will provide all the kids with grippers, sliders, and brooms.

Before stepping onto the ice, all kids must have a participation waiver signed by a parent or guardian.  Once you register we will send you a link where you can digitally sign the waiver ahead of time.
