In the Summer of 2010, the Cape Cod Curling Club hosted its first Wheelchair Bonspiel under the vision and guidance of our leader, mentor, coach and beloved friend Tony Colacchio.  It quickly grew to an International spiel and has welcomed Paralympic Medalists and National Teams from across the globe, including: Team USA, Slovakia, Scotland, South Korea, Russia, Czech Republic as well as curlers from all over Canada.

In 2023, we made the decision to move this Bonspiel to be in the traditional curling season, in an effort to make the travel for our athletes less difficult and less expensive for teams from all over the globe.  Although the season of the spiel has changed, we are continuing our proud tradition of creating a community of inclusiveness and camaraderie along with strong competition and sportsmanship. 

This year marks the 15th Tony Colacchio Wheelchair Spiel.  We are excited to celebrate our wheelchair curling community and look forward to welcoming you to Cape Cod!
