A Great Time at Six Ends and Pizza

 

The return of Six Ends and Pizza on Friday, December 22nd, was a huge sucess!  We had 16 people out on the ice, a mix of Juniors curlers and adults, all having a great time. While the older kids were on the ice, younger kids enjoyed hanging out watching "The Grinch" and sneaking mini cupcakes while they thought the adults weren't looking. 

Home for the holiday, some of our elder juniors and former juniors were in visiting framily from out of town. We were so happy that Marius Kleinas, Nick Cenzalli, Connor Hardin and Caleb Gartner got out on the ice.  It is terrifically exciting to see them inspire and share their knowledge with the juniors that we have coming up in the program.   

 

Three of our newest juniors were able to attend - for two of them this was their very first game! All three did terrific and we don't know who was prouder - us or their beaming parents.

Everybody had so much fun and it was such a valuable experience for our juniors; we are looking forward to scheduling a couple of more of these this upcoming season. Be on the lookout for your chance to sign up for the next  "Six ends and Pizza"
